A product marked as “Reissue” is a new production run of an item that was previously released by the manufacturer.

In many cases, the reissued product uses the same JAN/product code as the original release. When this happens, original stock and reissue stock may be supplied under the same product reference and may not be distinguishable in our inventory.

Will I always receive the newest reissue production?

Not necessarily, your order may be fulfilled using either:

  • Stock from the original release, or
  • Stock from the newer reissue production.

By placing an order for a product marked as “Reissue,” you acknowledge and accept that you may receive either the original production version or the reissued production version. We cannot guarantee a specific production batch unless the different versions are sold as products with different JAN codes on our website.

Are there differences between the original release and the reissue?

In most cases, a reissue is simply a new production run of the same product, usually because the original release was popular or sold out.

Minor differences between production batches may sometimes occur, such as packaging, markings, paint application, or other manufacturing details. These differences are not always announced by the manufacturer and are not systematically documented by Nin-Nin Game. For this reason, our Customer Service team may not be able to provide or confirm detailed differences between the original release and a reissue.

If a reissue includes a significant specification change, such as a different material, size, or clearly revised product version, this may be indicated on the relevant product page when applicable.

Can I request a specific production batch?

If both versions share the same JAN/product reference and cannot be distinguished by our supplier, we cannot guarantee a specific production batch. Requests such as “reissue only,” “newest batch only,” or “original release only” cannot be guaranteed in these cases.

By placing an order for a product marked as “Reissue,” you acknowledge and accept that you may receive either the original production version or the reissued production version. Receiving one production batch instead of the other is not by itself considered valid grounds for a refund, return, exchange, or compensation.
