Starting August 29, 2025, the U.S. government will suspend the de minimis exemption that previously allowed shipments under $800 to enter duty-free.
As a result, all shipments to the United States may now be subject to flat-rate import fees starting at $80 USD, with charges increasing depending on the product category and country of origin.
In addition, there are strong indications that Japan Post may suspend shipments to the U.S. as early as Wednesday, August 27, 2025
As a precaution, we have decided to temporarily suspend all shipments to the U.S. beginning Tuesday, August 26, 2025. This step is intended to prevent unexpected issues for our U.S. customers and ensure a safer transition while the new tariff regulations are being introduced.
Shipments will resume once there is clear and stable guidance, and we will keep you fully informed.
Any orders currently in preparation, as well as new ones, will therefore be placed « On Hold ».
We understand how concerning this may be for our U.S. customers.
That’s why we strongly recommend using our My Private Warehouse service during this period:

✅ No time limit on storage — you can keep your orders on hold until the situation becomes clearer.
